Lutheran Women in Mission - "LWML" News
LWML SOUPer Sunday sale after church on February 4th to benefit registration for ladies attending the LWML NJ Convention in Morristown in August was a great success!
There will be a corned-beef sandwich sale on March 11th after church service.
THE WOMENS' GUILD 7th RUMMAGE and BAKE SALE returns after a 6-year hiatus and will be held on Fri/Sat, June 15/16, (9am-3pm).
Chancel and Chime Choir News
Good Friday Service at 7 p.m. on March 30th The choir of the First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown will join voices with the Gethsemane choir.
Palm Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on March 25th (during Worship Service): Choir Cantata, "The Seven Last Days," A Tenebrae Service by Joel Raney, Narration by Harry Parker.
If you are interested in singing in the Lenten Cantata, please see Laura Petrie. Special rehearsals will be held on Sunday mornings in February and March after services for just one half hour a week to prepare for the Palm Sunday presentation. The cantata contains beautiful and inspiring music about the seven last days of Jesus, beginning with Palm Sunday and ending with the Saturday after his death. It is a wonderful preparation for our Easter celebration. Please consider joining the Chancel Choir for this special event!
